San Francisco Dermatology remains open during the COVID-19 outbreak in order to continue to care for our patients and community. We are currently offering both virtual (telemedicine) and in-office visits.
Virtual visits with Dr. Dans or Dr. Reisman can be arranged by emailing us through our patient portal or calling the office. We are conducting virtual visits through a combination of photos and live video. Virtual consults can also be conducted via phone or email. Please note that virtual visits cannot be booked online. Online appointment slots are only for in-office appointments.
For in-office visits, we are following public health guidelines to keep our office as safe as possible for our patients and staff. We have implemented safety measures including minimizing our schedule and taking other steps to allow ample social distancing, rooming patients upon arrival to avoid use of our waiting room, sanitizing all touched items and surfaces after each use, making hand sanitizer available throughout the office, supplying staff with personal protective equipment, including masks and gloves, and doing daily health screenings of our staff. Per San Francisco Department of Public Health order, do not come to our office if you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 10 days or a member of your household or other close contact has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 within the past 24 hours which is new or not explained by a pre-existing condition including fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, unusually fatigued, loss of taste or smell, muscle pain, headache, runny or congested nose, or diarrhea. Please wear a non-valved face covering when coming to our office. Please do not bring anyone with you to our office except for up to one essential care taker.
We hope to help you soon.
